The Baltic Engagement Centre for Combating Information Disorders (BECID) has published its new Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework<\/mark>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed in co-creation with partners and stakeholders, the framework provides a structured system for tracking progress with key performance indicators (KPIs), ranging from content production and dissemination to engagement, impact, and internal coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the framework is a \u201cglass house\u201d<\/mark> approach to communication. A dedicated section on the BECID website, BECID In Progress<\/mark><\/em>, offers public access to project milestones, deliverables, and timelines. This openness not only reinforces accountability but also ensures that stakeholders and the wider public can follow the consortium\u2019s work in real time. Combined with the internal Notion workspace<\/mark>, the system allows all partners across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to stay aligned and manage outputs efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The M&E framework also highlights the strong interconnections between BECID\u2019s work packages. From fact-checking and policy monitoring to media literacy campaigns and research on AI tools, activities are designed to reinforce one another and provide timely, evidence-based responses to disinformation. Continuous reporting \u2013 through newsletters, quarterly Steering Committee meetings, and annual reviews \u2013 ensures that both challenges and achievements are documented and addressed collectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the framework strengthens BECID\u2019s collaboration with other European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO)<\/mark> hubs. By actively participating in working groups and testing tools developed across the network, the consortium contributes to European-wide efforts in combating disinformation, while bringing lessons and innovations back to the Baltic region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
