BECID2’s Sustainability Plan

BECID2 has published its Sustainability Plan, outlining the consortium’s long-term vision for strengthening information resilience, media literacy, fact-checking, and cross-border cooperation across the Baltic states.

The document highlights how BECID2 aims to ensure lasting impact beyond the project period through international partnerships, academic research, stakeholder engagement, educational activities, investigative journalism, and practical media literacy initiatives. It also reflects the consortium’s growing role as a trusted regional actor addressing disinformation, AI-related challenges, democratic resilience, and public trust in the information environment.

The Sustainability Plan demonstrates how BECID2 combines research, public outreach, policy engagement, and collaboration with journalists, educators, students, GLAM institutions, and civil society organisations to build long-term resilience and sustainable knowledge networks across the Baltics and beyond.
