This report investigates a Kremlin-backed smear campaign that misuses the language of human rights to attack Estonia at the United Nations. A Swiss-based NGO, Justice pour Tous Internationale, has filed false complaints against Estonia, portraying it as a rights violator. These claims have been echoed by Kremlin-funded media outlets and amplified across pro-Russian propaganda channels.
Leaked documents reveal that the NGO’s activities are financed through Russian intelligence networks, with individuals presenting themselves as legitimate international experts while advancing Moscow’s disinformation agenda. By exploiting the credibility of the UN stage, the campaign seeks to damage Estonia’s global reputation and burden its institutions with rebutting fabricated accusations.
