PROJECT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK FOR BECID2

The second round of the BECID project (BECID2) brings together five partner organisations from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, led by the University of Tartu. Running from June 2025 to May 2028, the consortium now includes 23 members, building on the foundations and lessons of the first funding round.

A project management framework has been established to coordinate activities, finances, communication, and risk management. The University of Tartu oversees core processes, supported by designated leads for scientific direction, daily operations, financial oversight, and communications. This structure ensures the project can move smoothly from planning into implementation.

BECID2 launched with an online kick-off meeting in July 2025, where partners agreed on roles, priorities, and tools for collaboration. A new project tracking system and website were introduced to support transparency and coordination. Regular work package sessions and online updates now drive the consortium’s work, with the next management meeting scheduled for September 2025.
